At SSInTEC, we deliver safety engineering consultancy aligned with the UK Ministry of Defence’s System Safety Management (SSM) framework and governed by Defence Standard 00-056. Our work supports MOD delivery teams and contractors in developing, maintaining, and assuring robust Safety Cases across the CADMID lifecycle. We apply a systems engineering approach to hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation planning, ensuring that safety is embedded from concept through to disposal. Our consultants are experienced in producing Safety Management Plans (SMPs), conducting ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) evaluations, and supporting regulatory compliance with the Defence Safety Authority (DSA) and JSP 454. Whether advising on platform integration, human factors, or environmental interfaces, SSInTEC ensures that safety is not only demonstrable but defensible—providing the MOD with the assurance that operational risks are understood, justified, and effectively controlled.
